This policy explains what data WorkScanAI collects, why, and what choices you have. WorkScanAI is a project by Ian Baumeister (ianworks.dev).

Workflow analysis input (the tasks or job description you submit) is processed to generate your report and stored so you can revisit it. If you sign in, we store your email address to link analyses to your account. If you consent to analytics, PostHog (EU-hosted) collects page views, clicks, device/browser information, and masked session recordings (typed text is never recorded) to help us understand and improve the product.
Generating and storing your analysis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Analytics and session replay: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / §25 TTDSG), which you can withdraw at any time.
A functional cookie (wsai_locale) remembers your language choice and does not require consent. Analytics cookies from PostHog are only set after you accept them via the cookie banner, and are removed if you withdraw consent.
PostHog (analytics, EU Cloud), Vercel (frontend hosting), Render (backend hosting), Turso (database), Resend (transactional email). Each processes data only as needed to provide the service.
Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can change your analytics choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
